    Dubbed a brilliant crossover between Biffy Clyro, A Perfect Circle and Queens of the Stone Age, THE NEW DEATH CULT drives alternative rock in a forward direction mixing an eclectic 90's vibe with modern alternative rock.

    The band is now ready to release their highly-anticipated second album “Super Natural” and the tracks were laid down at Ocean Sound Recordings in Giske, Norway.
    The band states; "This new album marks an organic progress and growth from the last record, most noticeably harnessing the power and sound of the band on a new level.

    We delve into new themes and ideas while retaining what we consider essential to our identity. Lyrically, “Super Natural” is dealing with different aspects and dualities of nature, both mental and environmental, and can in many ways be perceived as more introspective compared to our previous songs.”

    "Super Natural" showcases a diverse range and unique sound of modern alternative rock, creating a dynamic and highly captivating listening experience.

Alternative rockers THE NEW DEATH CULT are back with a renewed sound and attitude showcasing their alternative rock with a punky approach in their new single “Antidote”.

“Antidote” is The New Death Cult’s highly anticipated first release since their critically acclaimed self-titled debut from 2019.
Drummer Anders Langset describes the new sing as "Antidote is heavy, catchy and in your face. The new The New Death Cult”.

Songwriter and guitarist Jon Vegard Naess states:

"The lyrics were inspired by the (Disney+) ‘Dopesick’ series, reflecting on the polarities between numbness and pain, sickness and health, and ultimately the desire to emotionally feel something as opposed to being numb to everything."

A full-length album is now on the horizon, set to release in 2023.
